Lilacsong let a smirk appear on her face with a narrowed, yet playful eye. "Well if I wasn't judging you before, I am now. What cats were you talking about being idiotic?" ash asked him with a sharp questioning glance. "it's not a very nice thing to say you know." he soft whisper of a voice added in to him.
"I'm sure we won't battle them anytime soon. besides, If you hurt too bad I'll have Birchstar and Tigerheart excuse you from patrols. Then you'll be sure not to get into a fight with anyone." Gingerleaf informed her apprentice. she too was wondering when the medicine cat would get back; it seemed like forever that they were in here waiting. [/size]

Blazepaw was disappointed. She hated being stuck in camp. No matter how much it hurt she wouldn't let ginderleaf to tell birchstar that she shouldn't go out on patrols. What would she do in camp? Just eat, sleep, and clean dens? Boring... She thought. She wouldn't allow herself to be stuck here.

Icefall narrowed his eyes as he looked around the camp, not really interested in what Lilacsong was going to say next. He had been called many nasty things in return for what he had said. It didn't affect him at all, it was just words.
He turned back to Lilacsong as she began to talk again. "Well if I wasn't judging you before, I am now. What cats were you talking about being idiotic?" He opened his mouth to bounce back another comment when she added something softer. Something about that not being nice. "It's sort of a given when there is a fuming cat and a sulking cat that some cat did something idiotic," he said to the she-cat. "And well, I just so happen to not be a very nice cat," he added imitating her soft voice.

Fawntail padded off, tail drooping and head down.her eyes filled with shame and guilt, she curled up in the warriors den,and dreams haunted her.
[/i]A silver tabby looked to Fawn."Run.Go!"she meowed hastily,as the great wheat feild started collapsing,a hack saw cutting through it.HEavy twoleg boots nearly cruushed Fawn, and she stood, frozen,as the hacksaw came nearer to her family and freinds. The cats ran,and Fawn ran to Her freind bounce,a young tom,who was carrying a kit.Fawn grabbed the kit.He had been found near the river, and had a twoleg collar. He was only a few moons old.as Fawn stumbled,a twoleg picked the kit up,carrying him away.bouncehad tryed to helphjer, and when bounce and Fawn left, they were seperated.Fawn saw her other, gasping.as she collapsed on the ground,Fawn ran to her.she had been wounded terribly."Mother!"she wailed in greif as her mother died. The young cat stayed ather mothers side, her heart empty.she hadnt saved the kit, couldn't find Bounce, and her mother was dead.she set off after a few days, and had found the clan.[/i]
Fawntails eyes blinked open.she had been fidgeting and whimpering the whole time.

Lilacsong rolled her eyes and let out a sigh; clearly there was no arguing with this tom. She twitched her tail slightly as she listened to him, "Why aren't you a nice cat? I believe there is good in all cats...except maybe Blackclan cats. they don't seem to have anything good about them." she meowed back to him. she saw Birchstar come out of his den, Honeypine at his side.
"Fawntail!" Birchstar yowled above the shimmer rock. His sapphire blue eyes staring down at her like jewels. "Fawntail, I have thought about your punishment, and have come up with the only thing I see fit. Because of your foolishness and lack of knowledge of our territory, border scents, trespassing, and starting a fight while leaders were present. I have decided that you must be demoted to an apprentice for 2 weeks. You will learn your territory better and the warrior code of fighting!" he called down to her. "Today was an embarrassment for me to have a warrior who gets lost and doesn't know what a border smells like. Wanderingstar probably laughed her way back to camp! we'll be lucky if they don't attack our camp because they think we have weak warriors!" he added with a hiss. "Icefall will mentor you Fawntail." he meowed looking at Icefall and nodding to him. Bichstar then flicked his tail to the now apprentice, dismissing her from his lecture.
Lilacsong looked at Icefall and smiled, "Good luck!" she giggled.

Fawntail sighed.Birchstar was right.Maybe she didnt belong here.she dropped her head, and slunk out of camp, and layed down next to the waterfall, gazing into the clear water."Starclan..why cant i do anything right."she meowed.she dabbed her paw into the clear water, and a cold feeling washed over her,but it stopped, replaced by the calm.she had seen a black and white cat,Standing in flames.she didnt think he was from another clan, and she thougt she was imaginng it,as she wasnt a medicine cat.Shehad neverbeen toldaboutblackclansrampage."Fawntail, getyourself together."she meowed..;"oris it Fawnpaw now?

"Maybe I should join Blackclan then," he snapped back at Lilacsong before turning his attention to the leader who was giving out Fawntail. He laughed to himself as he listened to Birchstar list everything Fawntail had down. Now Lilacsong maybe knew why he called cats in the this clan idiots. Then he froze as he heard who was going to be her mentor for the two weeks she was an apprentice. Him. "Fox dung!" he blurted out, clearly unhappy with his new "apprentice". He glared at Lilacsong as she giggled. Turning to go see the new apprentice he watched her run away to the waterfall. Pathetic. He knew he should follow her so he groaned as he stood up and began to make his way to the waterfall after her. He made a point not to look at the leader as he passed cause mentoring a "apprentice" was not exactly what he wanted to do.
"It's Fawnpaw," he snapped at Fawntail as he came close to her. "And now that you are my apprentice you are not allowed to just leave camp whenever you feel like it. So get yourself together and get back to camp. I heard the elders complaining about their bedding and I'm sure they would appreciate it if an apprentice like you would change it." He glared at the cat sitting near the water. "Move it, we don't have all day."

Blazepaw got out of the den and watched what happened in the clearing. She couldn't believe that fawntail.... Or paw... Was demoted to an apprentice. She watched birchstar deliver her punishment. She decided to stay in the camp until the medicine cat arrives. She wondered where he/she is. Her pain was returning now and when she walked out of the den she felt sore all over.

FAwntail sighed.SHe padded to camp, away from ICefalls horrible sneer.WHy did she have to be stuck with that stupid snobby tom?she headed to the elders den, using her tail to sweep the disgusting moss away.she left camp once more, clawing of large moss patches, anger making it faster. She picked it up,1 bundle in her mouth and another under her chin, enough to fill the elders den. When she finished, she went to (insert medicine cat name here)'s den,and told him/her of the vision of the black and white cat(lightnigblood from blackclan),with the blood dripping from his jaws, cats dead before him.

[size-1] Birchstar was in his den sleeping when a nudge awoke him. "Birchstar, its time! the kits are coming. I must go into the nursery now until they are born. I love you." Honeypine meowed softly and happily to him. Birchstar blicked open his eyes sleepily as Honeypine spoke the news about the kits. "What!" he jolted himself up from his nest quickly and pushed at Honeypine, "Quick! to the nursery at once!" he shouted. Honeypine giggled, "Don't worry Birchstar, I'll be fine, the kits will be fine, will you be fine?" she meowed and ended with a question for her mate who was acting as if he had ants in his fur. "I will be okay when I know you and the kits are okay." he purred to her softly. Honeypines sparkling eyes and sweet squeal of excitement ended in a purr as she headed towards the nursery. Birchstar went to the end of his den and paced back and fourth, waiting.

Foxshadow padded from the warriors den with a sigh. It had been a long day and she was thankful to have that short nap. She turned her gaze to Birchstars den. Her ears where pricked and she shook her head. His temper seemed to be getting the best of him lately and it worried her. She watched as Honeypine slipped from his den and made her way, as fast as her swollen belly would allow, to the nursery. She must be kitting soon.
Foxshadow couldn't help but think that sometimes, Birchstar may wish that it was Hazeleyes... er... star now.. that was baring his kits. They had seemed so close when they returned to the forest with the tribe. Having driven out BlackClan, the two cats seemed to go sepperate ways, taking over a clan for themselves. She brought her paw up and began to rasp her tongue over it. After a few licks she brought it up and over her ear. The day was only half over. Maybe she could catch the tail end of a hunting party or patrol. She was antsy and wanted to get out of the camp.
Standing she arched her back. It was an idea. Maybe she could talk Lilacsong, Icefall, and possibly Blazepaw. Some down time for the wounded apprentice would be good for her, but at the same time, she felt that if Blazepaws muscles where allowed to stiffen, she would be in more pain then before. She took a step forward before pausing. If Icefall came that ment that Fawntail... paw would be coming as well. Maybe it would be best to let Blazepaw rest.
She turned her gaze, spotting Icefall nearby. The tom was quick to lash out and seemed to have a quicker temper then an elder with a thorn in it's side. But dispite that, she still respected Icefall. He had been through a lot, he deserved to have a quick temper. She padded over to him and paused a moment. She then stepped up beside him. "Hello Icefall. Would you like to come out hunting with me?" Her tone was friendly, but she had learned long ago to be careful and not to let her guard down with the tom. Whether mentally or physically.

Blazepaw started licking her wounds to atleast make herself look better even if she didn't feel that way. She got most of the blood off of her but some of the cuts you could still see through her fur. It stung when she licked them but she knew she needed too and that the medicine cat would tell her to do it anyway. She noticed Fowshadow ask Icefall if he wanted to go hunting. Blazepaw watched for his reaction but quickly went over to foxshadow as quickly as she could and trying to not limp." can I go? I promise I won't hunt, I'll just follow."

Icefall was probably in a worse mood now that he had an apprentice to take care of. Honestly he had never had an apprentice, not that he blamed Birchstar - an apprentice might not do so well with him. Apprentices reminded him of when he was young and foolish and thought that sneaking away to Nightclan to visit his "true love" was what clan life was all about. Now he knew exactly what he had to do.
"Hello Icefall. Would you like to come out hunting with me?" Icefall looked to the she-cat that had talked to him, Foxshadow. He grunted and snapped back with, "Personally, no, but seeing as I'm a mentor now I guess I better go and bring the apprentice." He turned and looked for where the cat was. He walked over to the elder's den and it seemed clean enough, for now. Then where the heck was Fawntail?
He began to walk towards the camp entrance to see if she had left to get more moss or water for the elders when he spotted her in the medicine cat den. Fuming he walked over there and once he was standing in the entrance he said, "Fawnpaw! Get your tail out of there. You are not to go into the medicine cat den unless you are getting mousebile, and I can smell that you aren't, or you are hurt and if you don't start following my directions and keeping your head out of trouble, you will be." he paused for a second to make sure she was listening, "Apprentices do not go wandering into the medicine cat den for no reason so move it. We are going hunting." Not waiting to see if she was following he turned and walked back to Foxshadow, ready to go.

Lilacsong looked at her aunt, Foxshadow with a smile, "I'll come along if that not a problem?" she meowed to the black patched she-cat. Lilacsongs baby blue eyes were watching Icefall as he searched for Fawntail-paw to bring along. "I think we'll need to make sure Icefall doesn't kill his apprentice!" she laughed.
Gingerleaf padded up behind Blazepaw, "I don't know it thats such a good idea Blazepaw. if your sore we should get you into a nest so that you can rest. When you wake up we can try training if you'd like?" she told her determined apprentice.
Birchstar stared at the nursery, waiting for the moment he could go in and see his kits. He couldn't wait to be a father. I wonder if Hazeleyes ever wanted kits? I can't wait to see the look on her face at the gathering when I announce my kits' birth. Wait what am I saying! I love Honeypine more then words can say. I do love her more then Hazeleyes, I do! he thought to himself.

A stone colored tom padded out of the warriors den, a silly grin plastered on her muzzle. His eyes were half closed, typical for him. Pausing to give his shoulder a couple of licks, he strode up to Foxshadow and the other cats around her. Giving her a good natured smile, he asked, "I thought I heard that you were going on a hunting patrol. May I come?" As usual, he spoke with relaxed politeness. He sat while waiting for her answer, his tail curling to the front to cover his paws neatly. His ears twitched every now and then, listening to not only the cats around him, but the sounds of wind ruffling the grass and the birds hunting around for bugs.
