Birchstar sat at the opening of his den watching the sun rise into the sky; His sapphire blue eyes glowing in the still dark clearing as rays of gold and pink swirled in the bright sky. He looked over to the warriors den to see his sister, Foxshadow, stretching her way out of the den.
He flicked his tail to his little sister and she made her way over to him.
"Good morning Birchstar," she meowed dipping her head.
"Morning Foxshadow. you'll be coming on the Dawn patrol today, correct?"
"Yes Birchstar. as soon as everyone else wakes up." the Black and red patched she-cat giggled.
"I hope that soon!" a voice called from the entrance. it was Pantherstalk, who had been on guard duty last night.
Birchstar smiled, I'm sure it will be Pantherstalk. Why don't you go rest now? we should be fine." Birchstar told the warrior.
"No, I think I'll wait. You never know when something could come along." Pantherstalk snipped.
Birchstar shrugged, "Suit yourself." He sighed and then began chatting with his sister while they waited for everyone else to wake. |

A young She cat bounded through the mud.she pounded through the unclaimed meadow where she was born.she skidded to a halt by the river.She took icylaps as she stood.then she leapped in,shivered,and then started to powerfully swim.she skidded into camp.THis was the hyper,silvercat.this was fawntail.SHeskidded into Birchstar,dropping herfish.her fur was covered with dust,butshehad a large,fat fish now.shelicked herdirtychestfur inemberresment.

Birchstar and Foxshadow were chatting away when Birchstar was knocked into by a dripping wet, fur slicked cat. Birchstar spun around to face the cat with his fur bristled from his neck to his tail. "Fawntail! what do you think your doing charging in here like that!" he hissed to her. "Its not warrior like manners. I would have expected such behavior from an apprentice, but not a warrior!" he went on.
Foxshadow narrowed her eyes, "Birchstar! you're only mad because she got you splattered with water so early when your still half asleep." she told her brother.
Birchstar licked his side where the water was splashed on his side and then flicked his fur, "Its cold! and the sun hasn't begun to beat hard with warm rays yet." he mumbled. He looked at his sister, Foxshadow and flicked his tail to the apprentice den, "Go get Blazepaw. She can be the last member of our patrol." he said and Foxshadow headed off.
Birchstar then gazed at Fawntail, "You'll come with us too. by the way, thats a nice fish there, good work." he complimented her.
"Blazepaw! wake up!" Foxshadow called into the apprentice den. "We need you on the Dawn Patrol!" she called in after her. |

"UH,okay."Fawntail sat,her tail twitchingin excitement.She was kinda like an apprentince really,only joining the clan a fewmoons ago with the name fawn.SHe stretched,thoughshe didnt haveto,tofeel the nicefeeling,and she unsheated her claws,thensheatedthem again,and she sat back uup,her fur puffed upin exitement.shewasoneof the few cats whho LOVED dawn patrol,seing the glittering water rolling down the stones as the sun came up,the grass shimmering with dew.SHe flicked her tail.backand forth.Back and forth.like a metronome.

blazepaw blinked the sleep from her eyes at foxshadows call. dawn patrol! she thought. she got out of the den quickly.she had a good sleep and was a little embarrassed that foxshadow had to come wake her up.?Im here!? When she came out she tumbled out so that she didn't run into the warrior at full speed ?not knowing he was there until she was almost outside . she got up and saw fawntail,foxshadow and birchstar waiting. ?Im ready? she said and licked her ruffled fur down quickly.

Birchstar nodded to her with a slight smile, "sleeping in today Blazepaw?" he said with a chuckle. He looked at his sister, Foxshadow, and gently cuffed her ear, "I seem to know someone who used to do that a lot! I beleive her mento had to drag her out of the apprentice den sometimes." he joked.
Foxshadow whrinkled up her face, "ha-ha! hilarious." she snapped playfully.
Birchstar looked to all three cats and flicked his chocolaty brown striped tail, "If everyone is ready, let us leave now." he ordered and trotted over to the entrance where Pantherstalk was. "Go wake Gingerleaf and tell her to take over guard duty for you. and thats not a suggestion, its an order." her told the tom and then trotted past.
Pantherstalks eyes narrowed intensely on the leader, "Yes Birchstar." he muffled gruffly watching the cats go. |

blazepaw started to giggle at foxshadow being dragged from the den. she stopped and tried to hide her smile from him. she folllowed birchstar tothe entrance."Where are we going first?" she asked looking up to her leader. she couldnt wait to get out of camp and started shuffling her paws on the ground out of boredom .

Birchstar looked down at the eager apprentice and smiled lightly to her, "Well, I guess we'll go up to the stone cove stream where the Moonclan border is and see if there's any activity from them. " he meowed to young Blazepaw. His walk was bouncy and he trotted along the path that lead to the rocky hollow. It was Birchstars favorite place to go, because of its beauty; there is a lovely stream with rocks all around it, and in the deepest part of the rocks there was a little cave that was nice and cool in the warm summer. It was the place that he had spent most of his time as a warrior just thinking and watching the stream run; Now he was much too busy to do things like that. His steps got quicker and he got a little excited as they neared the stream by the Moonclan border. |

Fawntail twitched her whiskers in amusement at Birchstar,and bounded twoard the stream,tentatively going inside it,on the border yet not across.she stretched luxiorously,letting out a mew of delight.she jumped out."im going to check the NIghtclan border.THat aprrentince might be causing trouble!"Fawntail traipsed through the long,tall,dark grasses around her. They came nearly to her shoulders. Being a small cat, she supposed that the plant life really wasn't all that small after all, but from her perspective it was. And her perspective really was all that mattered at this point, since he was the only one around.
The RippleClan Warrior was totally lost. He knew he should have turned around when the land he was on no longer smelled familiar, but she didn't know her Clan's boundaries very well and had no clue. She knew that maybe a creature had died nearby and had been left for a few days. But, even when the smell never left his nostrils,Fawntail kept going on.
The feline, not quite a full grown cat yet no longer a kit, finally stopped her trek to get a drink of water. There was a small stream near him that gurgled peacefully along, and it was nice and secluded. Not that that really mattered to Fawntail. She could do with some company. He loved meeting new cats and making friends, but she'd already met everyone in his Clan. She didn't understand why there were never any new cats.a scent hit her nostrils.the stream!It was the one that connected to her own territory.ther was a muffled gasp.she had accidently wandered into Nightclan territory.She ran,and as she was nearly out of the darkness,a,a bright yellow shape bowled into her.the nightclan apprentince.

((Is Fawntail a girl or a boy? I thought girl?)) Birchstar looked to Fawntail ready to shake his head, but then the new warrior was gone. "Fawntail!" he shouted after her, ending with a sigh. He looked to his sister and motioned with his head in the direction Fawntail went, "Go after her. Blazepaw and I will catch up after we mark the border." he commanded.
Foxshadow dipped her head and trotted quickly in the scent trail Fawntail had left behind. The grass wasn't as tall on Foxshadow; she was a very long legged warrior so the grass only came halfway up her legs. she came to the edge of the Nightclan border and sniffed around. "Fawntail!" she growled lowly and quickly crossed the border and kept following her clan mates trail.
Foxshadow now smelled another cat, most likely it had caught up to Fawntail. She started to run threw the Nightclan territory until she finally saw the two cats and bolted to them, "HEY!" she yowled loudly, echoing threw the forest. "Please don't hurt Fawntail! shes an inexperienced new warrior who should know her way around the territory by now!" Foxshadow meowed finishing by looking at Fawntail with a dirty look. She heard rustling behind her and figured it was either a Nightclan patrol, or Birchstar and Blazepaw coming after they heard her yowl.
Birchstar burst into the little spot the three cats were gathered and began snarling. "Whats going on here?" he asked the Nightclan apprentice.
Foxshadow looked at her brother who wouldn't take his eyes off of The Nightclan cat, "Little miss genius here got lost and wondered into Nightclan. I came in only to retrieve her." She explained.
Birchstar looked at Fawntail and narrowed his eyes, "Is this true?" he asked her gruffly. |

Blazepaw was a little upset that they had to mark the border first,if there was a battle with Nightclan she wanted to be there. As she ran with Birchstar she was almost getting lost herself in the grass. She just kept her eyes on his pelt. When she saw the other cats she stood beside Birchstar but took a few steps toward Acidpaw.He'd have to be mousebrained to fight all of us,she thought.She unsheathed her claws into the ground three or four times waiting to see what would happen.She had no battle training and thought of what she had seen the warriors do when she was a kit.

Fawntail hissed."these cat smell so alike to that dead carrion over there,how would I know?"Exaggerated emotions ran through the she-cat's mind, the faintest of hisses escaping her lips. Silver body crouching forward, Fawntail turned her attention from Acidpaw to her leader. "We all have evena light sickness.he doesnt.we could have a disadvantage!"
Now Acidpaw himself crouched in anticipation, feeling the adrenaline begin to pulse through his veins. Ahh, what an exhileration it was! This would be quite an interesting battle.
Fawntail let out a sigh, and crouched down. She let some mild fury build in her. It was a challenge the apprentince had sent, though for what reasons he could not find. Though her heart told her not to fight, she knew she couldn't do that. She tried something differerent.THis cat doesent deserve any territory.hes just worthless foxdung!
She lunged at Acidpaw, thrusting her weight at the tom and attempting to pin him down. All she had to do was make the cat retreat, right? It wouldn't be too difficult, Acidpaw couldnt be any older then 6 moons! What she didn't know was how he was actually 8 moons. Fawntail kept herself alert and ready to move on with attacking or turn and defend herself if Acidpaw appeared to be more then a very new apprentince.
The tom smirked at the older cat and muttered"You don't want to be doing that my friend..." He kicked up at Fawntail, first strongly hitting hewr chest and secondly hitting her face, his claws were out and drawing blood.
Fawntail found herself pushed back into the dirt. She felt the blood drip from her neck, but it was only mild flesh wounds and had not struck the organs.

As soon as fawntail and acidpaw started fighting BLazepaw jumped in the fight. When Acidpaw Was on top of of Fawntail Blazepaw jumped onto his back and dug her claws in.
OCC Do we have liquid time? If we do then Ill keep this next part
Cinderpaw and Blackpaw were jumping and playing in the tall Nightclan grass. All of a sudden they heard Foxshadow's yell and stopped. They curiously looked at each other and almost like they read the others mind raced toward the sound. When they got there they saw blazepaw on acidpaw on Fawntail. Blackpaw let out a deep growl and unsheathed his claws.

WAnderingstar sighed,his calibyfur twitching.Swensing something was wrong,Wanderingstarplowed through the grass,soon smelling blood.
Axcidpaw hissed and roolled onto blazepaw,then jumped up and slashed his claws across Blazepaws face."well?"he hissed at blackpawand cinderpaw."ITs rippleclan intruders!!"he said with utter disgust for the clan that killed SHiningpaw.the yellowtom raced up one of the dark trees that conceal even his bright fur,and leaped onto fawntail again,grabbing ahold of her throat,threating at any minute tokill her if any ofthe cats attacked.Seaweed greeneyes stared at the riverclan in distaste."Ill haave payback.."he whispered toFAwntail,to lowfor any other cat to hear.Fawntail knew what he was talking about.SHe had killed SHiningpaw in the heeat of battle.

Blazepaw felt the air rush from her lungs as Acidpaw rolled across her. Then before she could even stand up she felt blood on her face. This was her first battle and she didn't know what to do but Acidpaw had left her and was now ready to kill Fawntail. If Blazepaw tried attacking again she could die but if she didn't do anything she could face the same fate. She stood infront of him not knowing what to do. She tried to shake away the pain and blood from her face without taking her eyes off ACidpaw
Blackpaw watched Blazepaw and pounced on her back scratching her shoulders while Cinderpaw went over to acidpaw to make sure no body touched him. She rolled over on Blackpaw just as Acidpaw had done to her.
