Wanderingstar padded out of his den and into the large, grassy clearing. The wind tugged at his calico-and-tabby patched fur, sending a few pebbles and small bits of twig scattering off of him. He padded confidently around his camp, observing the cats in the clearing, watching their activities. Most cats were still sleeping, as it was barley dawn, but the few cats that were up he watched with friendly, narrowed eyes. He would send out a hunting and border patrol--but not now. He'd wait until more cats were up.
Satisfied with what he saw within the camp, he bounded back to her den to sit in front of it, her thick, tough pads, perfect for walking on the sharp, jagged stones that were hidden in NightClan's tall grasses carrying him back toward the mouth of the shallow cave. He sat down, and began to give himself a thurough cleaning then, raking his tonge through his matted fur. Realizing for the millionth time that it was no use trying to clean the debris out of his fur, he got up, giving his pelt a large shake that loosened nearly all the pebbles and twigs from his fur, and bounded onto a huge, cold boulder in the center of the camp. The boulder was usually used to hold meetings, but he had no intention of doing so. Instead, he wanted to watch his clan's activities as the day started, and he settled down on the boulder, her bright olive eyes scanning the camp below as warriors and apprentices began exiting their dens.

((Mind if I bring in Soultear?))
Soultear sat neatly outside of the warrior den, to the side a bit so that she didn't block the entrance. Her tail was curled around to the front, covering her left front paw. Her right one would have been covered too, if it weren't for the fact that it was held up to her muzzle. Her pink tongue swiped over it a few times before she brought her paw over her brow and ears. She repeated this a few times, making sure the sleep was washed from her face. Twisting to the left, she licked down a tuft of fur that was sticking out from her shoulder. Standing and giving herself a quick shake to settle the rest of her fur, Soultear stretched out her back by reaching out with her front paws in a bow-like position. Her tail curled over her back, making her pose look more dynamic with out her meaning to.
With her morning routine completed, Soultear gazed around the camp with half closed eyes. It looked like most of the Clan was still asleep. Her gaze rested momentarily on her leader atop the boulder in the middle of the camp. The first thing that came to her mind was that he might call a meeting, but her watchful eyes saw that he was up there simply for his viewing pleasure. Her mind then shifted to another thing; the fact that his long pelt nearly always needed grooming. She wondered idly if anyone ever helped him groom. But, as usual, her mind moved on to another thought quickly. Flicking her tail slightly, the pretty she-cat padded over to the fresh kill pile. It didn't have much to it; it needed to be restocked again.
Selecting a small mouse for herself, Soultear carried her breakfast a few tail lengths away from the pile. She sat and ate slowly, thinking while she chewed. Her ears twitched a few times, a visible signal that she enjoyed the mouse. Her stomach was hollow, due to skipping eating the night before, so the mouse didn't last long, even with only taking small bites. Quickly clearing away the carcase, Soultear sat back down outside the warrior's den, cleaning her muzzle and forepaws.
