name; yellowclaw age; forty-eight moons gender; she-cat clan; nightclan role; deputy *PMed an admin and the leader.
personality; Yellowclaw is just like Yellowfang from the Warriors Series; sarcastic, cold, snappy, and sometimes dark-humored. She takes no whining, or she'll beat the crap out of you. She is tough and a bit dark-hearted, but not so evil. A true warrior, she stays loyal to her Clan and fights for her Clan. She doesn't easily get distracted now, like she used to when she was a young warrior. No, instead she has an excellent focus on one certain thing and that's her Clan. She would die defending for her Clan, that's how loyal she is. Yellowclaw doesn't have so many friends, since she keeps to herself and prefers to be alone. Whenever she meets someone new, her 'I-hate-you' mood sets in and she will dare claw your face. But, there are some cats that know her really well. To her friends, she's a snappy, funny, and witty she-cat. That's another thing; she's witty. She stands up for her own thoughts, even if it may go against the Warrior Code. Yellowclaw is a true hothead, always making really dangerous decisions and not listen to anyone. She's also a bit stubborn, but she could sometimes listen to you. Yellowclaw has a great love for her kits in RippleClan, which she hides it very well from everyone. She misses them, but she tries to not miss them, telling herself they're all right without her and it's better if they don't know her at all. description; Yellowclaw is known as a gray she-cat with amber eyes. Her fur is a bit short, but she doesn't freeze in leaf-bare. It is quite thick at some parts, but mostly it is thin. It blends her in well with the NightClanners because mostly they are made out of black, gray, and tabby cats. But she can be a RippleClan cat too, since her fur color is also common in RippleClan. Anyways, her fur on her ears are a darker-gray color. Her ears are medium-sized, with good hearing. Her left ear is torn from a fox battle, reminding the Clan that she's a good fighter. Little small bites were on the outside of the torn ear but it seems perfectly fine. Her amber-yellow eyes show a gleam of amusement and anger, all mixed it. When shone in the sunlight, it seems like a perfect sunflower yellow. Her claws are long and sharp, being a clean white with a yellow tint. Her tail, size, and paws are all medium-length. Her teeth are also medium-length, yet they're sharp as a snake's and could be used for a death blow. kits; oldest ; icefall - white tom with blue eyes (rippleclan, alive) middle ; hollygaze - brown tabby she-cat with green eyes and a small black nose, along with white paws, white muzzle, and a white tail tip (rippleclan, alive) youngest ; stormcloud - gray tom with amber eyes (rippleclan, alive) mate; former mate ; owlfeather - brown tabby-and-white tom with amber eyes (rippleclan, alive) {pretend mate of owlfeather} ; lilyfrost - creamy tabby she-cat with light frosty-blue eyes (rippleclan, alive)
They are not mates anymore because they are from different Clans and ended meeting each other. Also, Owlfeather has to pretend to be the mate of Lilyfrost (Lilyfrost knows the kits are Yellowclaw's, but takes this as a win for Owlfeather's 'love' and now considers them as 'soul-mates', when Owlfeather doesn't love Lilyfrost and still loves Yellowclaw, who also still loves Owlfeather) because Lilyfrost offered to take Yellowclaw's kits and be the pretend mother of them, because Yellowclaw was ambitious to be deputy (which she became twenty moons later) and knew if she had kits then she couldn't become deputy. Sadly, she gave them to Owlfeather to take care of and as she waited to become deputy at twenty-eight moons old, someone else became deputy. From this day on she regretted to give away her kits because of a high position which she claimed at forty-eight moons old. parents; father ; frostface - gray tom with a white face and blue eyes (nightclan, dead) mother ; ravenwing - black she-cat with amber eyes (nightclan, dead)
Frostface and Ravenwing died together in the elders' den when Yellowclaw was forty-two moons old. history; 'I feel it.. I feel it..' a black she-cat whispered, her tail curled over her small paws. Her amber gaze was burning into the dark depths of the shadows, almost unblinking. It was night, somewhere around moonhigh. A border patrol was out right now, and she was in the nursery, hearing Silverblaze's breathing as the queen sleeps. She walked around the nursery, looking at her plump belly.
This new queen's name is Ravenwing, member of NightClan. Ravenwing is waiting for her kits right now, and she feels that tonight is the time they will get born. She wondered quietly at the father's reaction of the kits. I bet Frostface would be so proud, she thought, almost smiling. Then, there was a rustle in the green bushes and she swished her head around, her mouth forming a snarl.
A familiar scent filled her black nostrils and then her eyes grew larger, showing delight and confusion in her amber eyes. Then a feline shape came out of the bushes and the blue eyes of the stranger glowed. 'Why so scared?' the lean gray tom purred, walking to his mate and licked her ear. 'I thought you were some intruder,' Ravenwing murmured quietly, her amber eyes narrowed and her tail flickering. 'If I was an intruder, I wouldn't have made such a noise in the bushes,' the tom, Frostface, said. 'I would have attacked the sleeping queen first.' He pointed a paw at the silver tabby body of Silverblaze. 'Hm.. Very well. So... what should we name our kits?' 'Now, we don't know how they look like!' 'I know, but I would still want some suggestions...' The black cat sighed, her neck fur prickling. 'What about Ebonykit or Graykit or... Badgerkit!' Frostface's blue eyes widened on his white face, a gleam appearing. 'Yes, beautiful name for a kit. Badgerkit, the most feared cat in the forest!' Ravenwing laughed, but then fell down as she felt a pain in her stomach. She let out a cry - which awoke Silverblaze - and Frostface ran to get the medicine cat. The silver tabby queen's orange eyes were showing fear and confusion and she sat down by the soon-to-be mother, giving her encouragement...
example one; Yellowkit was born as the only kit of Frostface and Ravenwing. She was named as Yellowkit because of her eyes, since Ravenwing (who was a big name-thinker) thought her name would be 'Yelloweyes'. But Yellowkit wasn't named that. Anyways, Yellowkit was a really popular kit in the nursery, since she was snappish and ready to take charge. Kits admired her, kits feared her. You probably think she was lonely as having no siblings, but there was someone on her side.
That someone was Robinkit.
Robinkit was a dark ginger tom with amber eyes and a white dash on his chest. Robinkit was an adventurous and sly kit. He was the son of Squirrelclaw, a ginger she-cat with amber eyes, and Longshadow, a white-and-black tom with green eyes. Robinkit had three sisters; Mosskit, a white-and-black she-cat with green eyes, Fernkit, a dark brown tabby she-cat with green eyes, and Pouncekit, a ginger she-cat with amber eyes. His parents were good friends with Yellowkit's parents and that's how they met each other. They would have adventures together and play around in the forest secretly, sometimes getting caught. They were happy and were best friends.
One adventure they had was crossing over the LeafClan border. It was at daytime, and they sneaked out quietly. They were listening to the elders' stories, but then they got bored and decided to have a little tour of the forest. And so they went from the woods of the shadows and stepped on LeafClan's lovely woods, where sunlight fills every corner. Yellowkit didn't like the rival Clan's territory, since she wasn't used to the sunlight and preferred the darkness. Robinkit actually kind of liked LeafClan's territory and - not knowing the rule to never cross another Clan's border - he stepped in their territory over the NightClan-LeafClan border and saw a mouse, so he caught it. Yellowkit and Robinkit shared it together under the trees, spending at least hours there. The NightClanners noticed they were missing and were scared and suspicious, wondering if a rival Clanner stole them. So they patrolled around the borders, causing chaos on the borders and demanding where their kits were. When they found their kits' necks in a big brown tabby tom LeafClanner's mouth with a ginger tabby tom and a white cat she-cat behind the brown tabby, they were shocked and angry. The patrol leader explained to the NightClan patrol what happened and then gave them to the NightClanners. Yellowkit and Robinkit were punished severely, but still had crazy adventures.
They later became apprentices.
example two; Yellowkit became Yellowpaw at six moons. Her mentor was Briarleaf, a dark brown she-cat with green eyes, Robinpaw's cousin and Longshadow's neice. Briarleaf taught Yellowpaw hunting and fighting moves, how to mark, and showed her parts of the Clan's territory in patrols. Yellowpaw and Briarleaf were very close, probably one of the best apprentice-mentor relationships. They were 'girlfriends' and they spent hours training with Robinpaw. Robinpaw's mentor was a black tom with amber eyes called Shadowfang.
Briarleaf and Yellowpaw would always be one step above Shadowfang and Robinpaw, and the two males were really irritated. They felt that they weren't good enough and they wanted to reach up to Briarleaf and Yellowpaw. So they had a little competition with the two females; who could finish all the training first? So they trained each day, side by side, sometimes alone, sometimes not.
One day, three foxes raided the NightClan camp. Yellowpaw was ten moons old. No one noticed them and everyone seemed to be off-guard. The foxes were a big battle, since there were some cats that died. The three foxes seemed to be family; a mother, a son, and the son's mate. They were hungry and they would eat any meat in their path to keep alive. Yellowpaw was cornered by a fox, where she would meet her doom. When the fox opened his mouth and charged with its snapping jaws, a cat covered Yellowpaw from the death-attack. It was Mosspaw, Robinpaw's sister. It was scary when Yellowpaw saw blood squirting out of Mosspaw's sleek white-and-black pelt and her green eyes wide with fear. Mosspaw's body was in the fox's jaws and the fox seemed to be chewing on her. That made Yellowpaw terribly angry and she attacked the fox's legs, making the fox stumble and let go off Mosspaw. She then attacked the fox on the chest and clawed its face, making blood squirt out and cover her claws. The fox and Yellowpaw fought, which at the end the fox was above Yellowpaw while she was under the stomach. The apprentice received a torn ear from the fox while the fox received a bloody scar on its face. Yellowpaw thought to herself, At least I'll die in honor and respect for Mosspaw. But then, her father and Robinpaw attacked the fox and battled with the fox. The fox ended being dead, while the other two foxes ran away to some other territory. Patrols were made by the leader to make sure the foxes aren't in NightClan's territory. Mosspaw and an elder were the only ones killed. So they mourned for the two and buried them. Robinpaw and his family were devastated, making Yellowpaw and her parents comfort them.
Robinpaw and his sisters were free from training for a couple of days, which made the competition between Yellowpaw and Robinpaw pause for a bit. Yellowpaw and Briarleaf trained their old moves and had a little review. After Robinpaw stopped mourning, they went back to their old duties and continued the competition.
By now, they were twelve moons old. When Robinpaw and Yellowpaw had their last assessment and passed them both, they became warriors with Robinpaw's sisters. The competition was a tie between the two apprentices.
Their names were Yellowclaw, Robinheart, Fernshade, and Pouncestrike.
example three; Ever since Yellowclaw became a warrior, the ambition for power that had been in her heart for so long has finally arose. Yellowclaw made sure she would lead patrols and made sure to listen well to the senior warriors, but that may not really worked because Yellowclaw gets angry easily and ticked off easily. But, she did the best she could. She was all crazy about it and didn't have so many adventures with Robinheart, who still wanted to do crazy stuff. When they were fifteen moons old, Robinheart asked her to come with him to try to trespass LeafClan's territory again to take a mouse like they did when they were kits, Yellowclaw had this 'Your-blood-is-gonna-be-on-my-claws-this-instant-second' look and snapped at him to be mature already and just to go away. This made Robinheart shocked and angry, but he left. This was the first fight they ever had.
And there might be more.
They were on a hunting patrol, near RippleClan's border. Yellowclaw and Robinheart were twenty moons, five moons past since their fight. They seemed to forgot about it and they now talked and spent time together. It was only then when Robinheart made a stupid thing; he spotted a squirrel and turned his position into a hunting crouch. When he seemed pretty close enough to the squirrel, he tried to snatch it with his paw but the squirrel saw it and escaped. Robinheart, being born to not give up easily, chased after the squirrel. Yellowclaw tried to run after him to stop him from crossing into RippleClan's territory but it was too late. Robinheart was over the border and now under his paws were the squirrel, chuckling to himself. Yellowclaw exploded and threatened him to get off the territory or else RippleClan and she will kill him. The dark ginger warrior had no idea what she was talking about, until he saw the sleek bodies of RippleClan cats. It was a RippleClan border patrol and they had a look of disgust and anger on their faces when they saw a NightClan cat with a squirrel under his paws. The patrol leader, Fishpelt, gave a great argument with Robinheart, with Yellowclaw just watching the fight and saying nothing. When Fishpelt and the patrol let him go (but they took the squirrel away), Robinheart asked Yellowclaw why hasn't she backed him up. Yellowclaw responded with a snarl, 'Because you did break a rule and they had the right to kick your lazy rear off their territory! That's why!' Yellowclaw then just left Robinheart walking by himself to go back to camp.
A happy thing did happen though. One sunrise after the fight, Yellowclaw received an apprentice. It was a dark-gray she-cat with amber eyes named Smokepaw. They trained together.
Another fight bloomed. It was the day before the Gathering and cats seemed pretty excited. It was the day when Yellowclaw and Robinheart would become twenty-one moons. Yellowclaw didn't talk to Robinheart, since she was still angry about Robinheart's trespassing five sunrises ago. She has been giving him the silent treatment since that day and it made Robinheart pretty upset, but he just shrugged about it and did what he was supposed to do as a warrior. When it was in the middle of the afternoon, Robinheart mocked the leader with a friend when the leader said, 'Go do your duties, you warriors!' and Robinheart said quietly to his friend, 'Oh, and he gets to lie around in his den and say stuff without having to do what he says?' Robinheart then just rejected his duties and ate a vole, when he was supposed to give that vole to the queens and elders. Yellowclaw saw what he was doing and got angry at him, but Robinheart just ignored her and said what he was doing is fine. Yellowclaw was angry and told him in a very dark voice, 'Fine, do what you want. I don't give a mouse-dung and if you're ever gonna be in danger, I'll just ignore my warrior instinct to save you and just eat a piece of vole like everything's fine!' She smacked him with a paw on his head and left.
It was the Gathering. Yellowclaw and Robinheart were taken to go with the Gathering group, even though Yellowclaw would 'rather eat dirt than be with a fox-hearted cat.' Yellowclaw thought that in her mind though, not saying it out loud. At the Gathering, Yellowclaw caught someone's eye. It was Owlfeather, a brown tabby-and-white tom with amber eyes who was from RippleClan. When Owlfeather approached her, she snapped at him and unsheathed her claws, but that only made Owlfeather laugh. After a long moment, the two seemed to be talking with each other and Owlfeather was making Yellowclaw happy. When Robinheart saw this, he thought Yellowclaw was flirting around and was about to tattle on her, but thought of a better idea. He quickly found a NightClan she-cat and stayed near Yellowclaw and Owlfeather and began to flirt with the NightClan she-cat. Yellowclaw saw this and this made her mad and cruel again, storming away from Owlfeather and sat by herself in the shadows. When they came back to their camp, Robinheart asked Yellowclaw why was she 'flirting' with Owlfeather and she yelled at him that she's only loyal to her Clan, that's it. Then she asked him why was he flirting with the NightClan she-cat Darkbreeze and Robinheart said because he's allowed to and he doesn't flirt with rival Clanners. This made Yellowclaw extremely angry and vicious, so she bit Robinheart's ear, almost making it bleed. Then she left to go sleep in the warriors' den next to her mother, when she usually sleeps next to Robinheart.
But Owlfeather never left Yellowclaw's mind.
They saw each other while hunting or on bordering patrols and they didn't talk to each other, but sometimes Yellowclaw tells a really nasty mean thing to him to keep him off the territory, which keeps Owlfeather smiling and laughing. Yellowclaw then got used to the presence of Owlfeather whenever they were on patrols near RippleClan's border and then Yellowclaw began to realize that her heart was really open to him, since she told him all of her problems and stories when they meet secretly by the border. Same thing with the tom. She and Owlfeather. They're in love.
And so they meet even more in secret and eventually, by twenty-six moons, Yellowclaw was pregnant. Shocked and feeling ashamed, she didn't tell anyone except Owlfeather and her apprentice, Smokepaw, who was by then eleven moons, almost twelve moons to be a warrior. The medicine cat, of course, saw the signs of her pregnancy. But the medicine cat promised Yellowclaw that it will be their secret. And so, trying to injure a paw or so to have an excuse from not taking patrols (because of her pregnancy), she spent a lot of time with the medicine cat. It bored her being in the medicine cat's den but it was the only escape.
When Yellowclaw was twenty-seven moons, her apprentice became a warrior named Smokehaze.
Yellowclaw gave birth to three kits in the woods of NightClan two moons later; Icekit, Hollykit, and Stormkit. She nursed them for a bit and then decided to go leave the woods and give the kits to Owlfeather, where he would give the kits secretly to Lilyfrost (who was plump, but that's because she ate a lot of food to look pregnant) and Lilyfrost would go into the woods part of RippleClan and give 'birth' to the kits and take them back to RippleClan with Owlfeather on her side and RippleClan will think the kits are Lilyfrost's and Owlfeather's. The reason why she's giving her kits to her mate is because the deputy got recently killed and she always wanted to be the deputy, so she clings to the hope of being deputy. As she began to leave, out of nowhere, a badger appears. Yellowclaw and the badger fought. The she-cat received a scar on her shoulder and then almost collapsed since she was tired from fighting and giving birth. The badger moved to the kits and -- Bam! Robinheart attacked the badger and then fought with the badger. In the end, the badger ran away, but Robinheart died. The warrior's last words to the queen was; 'Yellowclaw... I'll miss you. And I'll love you like a sister... I knew you were pregnant but didn't tell you... I'll see you in... Sky...Clan...'
The gray she-cat lost her best friend.
She gave her kits to her mate and told him what happened. They mourned for him silently for a moment and then left. Yellowclaw went back to the dead body of her best friend and went to her Clan with it.
When she arrived, the Clan was in shock when they saw Robinheart's lifeless body. She explained to them that she went hunting and a badger attacked her and when the badger was close to aiming a death blow to her Robinheart attacked the badger secretly and fought with it to death. They mourned for him and the elders buried him.
Yellowclaw was devastated and angry with herself, since she and Robinheart had been fighting over nothing, which led to his death. And when the leader announced the new deputy, she wasn't the deputy.
She gave her kits to her mate for nothing.
When she was thirty-five moons old, she was given another apprentice. The apprentice was a dark brown tabby tom with amber eyes named Tigerpaw. Tigerpaw was Fernshade's son, being younger than his older brother, Windpaw (light-brown tabby tom with amber eyes). The apprentice became a warrior when Yellowclaw was forty-one moons, earning the name Tigerleap. His brother Windpaw became Windbreeze. A moon later, Tigerleap broke his leg while running and became an elder. Yellowclaw's parents, Frostface and Ravenwing, died at that time.
Then, the deputy died and another one became the deputy. Sometime later the leader died and the deputy became the leader, who became Wanderingstar. Yellowclaw was picked to be deputy.
