This was Thornstar's first full day as leader of LeafClan. It was time to choose his deputy. He had chosen Spottedtail a long time before he was leader so he already knew who he would pick. He made his way to the top of the large stump. Leaders of LeafClan always go there during ceremonies and announcements. "Everyone old enough to catch their own prey gather around. It is time to choose LeafClan deputy!" He called out to his Clan. Thornstar waited for his Clan to gather around him. This would be his first ceremony as a leader. He has given ceremonies before, but that was when Duststar was sick or to busy. Now it was his official duty.

A silver form slinked out of the warriors den at his leaders command. he sat down and groomed carefully. He eyed Autumnfall. She would easily make a good leader. Then he looked at Spottedtail. Spottedtail would make a good leader too.
A black tortishell stormed out of the warriors den,in a black mood,even after the patrol earlier.Duststars random ,mutilated body,found outside the camp gave him a worse mood then ever.THornheart would probably make a really grumpy leader.Obsidianpaw slashed at the air in front of him.
a beutiful,blue eyed cream cat walked out of the warrioras den,in her usual freindly mood. Deep down inside though,she felt saddened.Duststar was one of her freinds,and he died.IT was strange,like some cat was trying to destroy her life.
Tangledkit trotted outof the nursery tail held high.Her happy mood vanished as her sister said in her mind, Watch this.make freind wwith the dputy and leaders.THattl improve chances of being deputy,and then leader.

Spottedtail came and sat in front of her new leader. So recent to their Duskstars death the camp still didn't seem normal. She looked around at the other cats to see if anyone wasn't here and waited for thornstar to begin. She had been friends with him but never e pectes o be deputy
